Castle fireworks event does not go with a bang

COMPLAINTS ABOUT QUEUES, DELAYS AND MUD
FAMILIES attending a firework display say it was spoiled by gridlock, delays and mud.
Visitors to Belvoir Castle’s event on Friday endured hour-long queues, with some giving up and leaving before the fireworks display.
The castle promised live music, food vendors, and a fireworks display by two-time British Firework Champion winner MLE Pyrotechnics at a new, larger location at Ladies Field in the parkland.
Tickets were £15 for adults and £7 for children aged three to 16.
Visitors said vehicles were backed up into Woolsthorpe.
