Care worker 'feared she was being kidnapped' as she lashed out at police

A WOMAN kicked and spat at officers as she was arrested in a pub after wrongly believing she was about to be “kidnapped”.

Faye Knight, of Mancetter Close, Kirby Muxloe, was out drinking in Cornwall when the incident happened in September.

Prosecutor Cintya Sousa told Leicester Magistrates’ Court last Thursday: “Police had been dispatched due to a matter involving the defendant.

“She was becoming aggressive to staff in the pub and passersby on the street. She was placed in handcuffs and began to shout and scream.
