Bookings open for free on-demand bus routes

YOU can now book to use on-demand bus services offering free journeys to attractions such as Twycross Zoo and 1620s House & Garden this summer.

Leicestershire County Council’s FoxConnect will be rolled out in North West Leicestershire and Hinckley and Bosworth from Monday, July 14.

Passengers can now book a journey ready for the launch of the services, free to use until August 16.

People can travel within each of the three new travel zones, as well as to and from key town centres.

Key destinations include:

■Zone 8: Coalville, Market Bosworth and Measham;

■Zone 9: Atherstone, Market Bosworth and Measham;

■Zone 11: Coalville, Castle Donington and East Midlands Gateway.
