LEICESTER Riders guard RaeQuan Battle has been named Super League Basketball's Molten Player of the Month following a string of standout performances to open the 2025/26 season.
-
Battle, in his debut season with the Riders, has made an immediate impact, showcasing his dynamic scoring ability and all-round athleticism in October's fixtures.
His energy, flair, and consistency have made him one of the league's most exciting new talents.
The American guard played a pivotal role in the Riders' 91-77 league victory over Newcastle Eagles last month, leading the charge on both ends of the floor.
Battle followed that up with a stellar performance in Leicester's thrilling 95-93 win against Cheshire Phoenix at Mattioli Arena on Halloween night, dropping 24 points six rebounds and two assists, and hitting crucial shots down the stretch to seal the Riders' win.
Battle has also begun forming a dangerous partnership with teammate Donald Carey Jr, the pair already combining for one of the highlights of the season.
