A fascinating glimpse into our everyday life at turn of millennium

THIS will make you feel a bit old... an exhibition is displaying more than 300 familiar objects that were around at the turn of the millennium.

The time capsule collection came together when Leicestershire County Council's museum service asked families, community groups, businesses and organisations to donate an object that told a story about life in the year 2000.

The window to the not-too-distant past is now on show at Melton Carnegie Museum, called 25 Years On! - Revisiting the Millennium Collections.
