Pub owners want to restore historic 20th century artwork
A PUB's historic mural will be restored so it can be enjoyed by future generations if district planners give the go-ahead.
The artwork at The Plough in Endon, pictured, is thought to have been painted in the early 20th century.
Concerns had been raised over the condition of the historic Grade-II listed building with villagers keen to see the mural protected. Now proposals have been put forward by pub owner Mitchells & Butlers to ‘protect its important historical significance for future generations’
