And she admits this has been one the biggest learning curves of all.

"I have 75,000 constituents and I worry about all of the issues that come my way. You want to take on every single issue and work out how we can change policies and support them, but you just don't have time in the day. It's the emotional challenge of how do you honour that value of wanting to fight for those people, but also protecting your own well-being."
