Treat stubborn fungal infections
Lancashire Evening Post
|May 17, 2025
It's sandal season! If you have healthy feet, then you're likely enjoying cool grass, warm sand and a nice breeze. If you're prone to fungal infections, then maybe not.
Fungal infections are a special interest of mine (not a fact I usually share at parties). They are stubborn to treat, but the secret to success is persistence.
My research into fungal infections began as a student when a friend revealed her infected toenails. They were thick, yellow and disfigured, and she was deeply embarrassed. Having tried every expensive treatment available, she'd given up.
Desperate for something to work, she'd asked my opinion as a herbalist, not wanting another summer with hot, uncomfortable feet.
