Scouts unveil lasting tribute to long-serving group leader

Scouts have renamed their meeting hut in memory of a long serving leader.

Members of 9th Penwortham Scout Group unveiled the new name of their Scout hut in honour of Steve Blackburn.
The unveiling was carried out by Steve's widow, Norma, and son, Simon, surrounded by young people, volunteers, families, and members of the local community.
Steve served as Group Scout Leader - now known as Group Lead Volunteer - for more than 27 years.
