Sam-tastic show helps Brownedge to a vital victory

Sam Worden of Brownedge was in unstoppable form in their victory over St Wilfrid's in the Preston and District Summer Snooker League.
He won his first game 95-32, which included a 38 break, and his second game was even better, knocking in a 44 break in his 112-52 win and helping Brownedge to a much needed 5-2 home win.
There were also wins for Barry Johnson (98-51) and Paul Taylor (46-31).
Elite C continue to lead at the top with a sixth consecutive 5-2 win, this time at home to the defending champions New Meadow Street B.
