Sacred Paws take time with third album - then take a leap

It's often frowned upon to simply name a band's "influences" when trying to describe their sound, but in the case of Glasgow/London duo Sacred Paws, it's pretty much essential.

When Ray Aggs and Eilidh Rodgers broke through with their first album it became clear that their exciting, vibrant sound was at once original, yet drawing from multiple musical genres, making for a thrilling set of tunes deserving of a whole new genre.

While this hasn't received an official name, it perhaps suffices to note that the pair took their roots in the punk world and wound it together with myriad influences, from Afrobeat, through pop and post-punk, to create a glorious and unique hybrid.
