Paddy powers annual Children in Need appeal

Every pound counts and rattling the collection tins is Pudsey on behalf of the BBC’s annual Children in Need appeal on Friday November 14.

From sponsored walks and silences to bake sales and baths in baked beans, there are no end of unsung heroes up and down the country raising money.

The undoubted star of last year’s show was Paddy McGuinness. Travelling across three nations and eight counties on his specially-modified Chopper Patch, the comedian and TV presenter completed a 300-mile ultra-endurance cycle challenge and raising more than £10 million.
