Symptoms of PTSD have been correlated with symptoms of fibromyalgia and after therapeutic intervention, fibromyalgia symptoms reduce with the PTSD.

The research I refer to was done with female veterans and victims of violence, but in my own clinic, I see this same pattern from all sorts of accidents, traumas and long-term stress. Yet those same clients frequently dismiss their experience.
