Paul Heckingbottom insists his PNE team should not lose any confidence despite suffering two defeats in a week.
North End were beaten 2-1 at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday before Tuesday night’s narrow 1-0 loss at home to Birmingham City - their first league defeat at Deepdale this season.
PNE were buoyed by their performance against the Baggies and Heckingbottom felt his men continued that form against the Blues.
The hosts were aggrieved by a number of refereeing decisions which went against them which left the boss feeling frustrated at the final whistle, but there was no frustration regarding his team’s performance.
