Heart surgeon found guilty of sexual assaults

A top Lancashire heart surgeon has been found guilty of 12 offences of sexually assaulting colleagues at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Amal Bose, 55, committed the offences while head of cardiovascular surgery at the Cardiac Unit. He was cleared of two other counts of sexual assault.
The prosecution at Preston Crown Court said Bose was a "highly sexualised man" who touched women inappropriately and whose banter was often laden with sexual innuendo.
Bose denied ever sexually assaulting any of the women and said his behaviour amounted to "flirting".
