Kids ride bicycles, e-scooters on Ajman roads; parents warned of accidents

Police in Ajman have issued a reminder to parents, warning them of the dangers of children using bicycles or electric scooters on public roads or between vehicles.

The authority highlighted how using bicycles and electric scooters in non-designated areas exposes children to serious risks that may lead to accidents and severe injuries, and also pose a threat to the safety of others.

While sharing a video of multiple footages capturing children riding scooters and bicycles on streets near cars, the authority pointed out how dangerous the act was, even in residential areas near homes.

The clip shows very young children too, riding bikes made for their age, but meant to be used inside the home or in safe outdoor places like parks.
