Power Generation Capacity of J&K to Rise by 47% in Upcoming Fiscal

In the upcoming fiscal, 'Jammu and Kashmir is all set to have nearly 47 percent of extra hydro power generation capacity'.
According to the official figures available with KNO, Jammu and Kashmir will have an additional 1685.7 Megawatts (MWs) of power generation capacity in addition to the existing 3540.15 MWs.
It also said that by the financial year 2030-31, Jammu and Kashmir will have 7314.85 MWs of power generation capacity.
