Police Attaches Property Of Notorious Drug Peddler

SRINAGAR: In a significant step towards dismantling the infrastructure of drug trafficking, Srinagar Police on Saturday attached property worth approximately Rs 50 lakhs belonging to a notorious drug peddler from Anantnag, under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The seized property, which includes a two-storeyed residential house and adjacent land in Sirgufwara, belonged to Bilal Ahmad Wani, son of Gh. Ahmad Wani. He is involved in FIR No. 05/2025 registered under sections 8/20 and 29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Shaheed Gunj.
