Operation Sindoor A Defining Blow To Terrorism: Rajnath Singh

Speaking at a national dialogue on security and terrorism, Singh highlighted the operation as a turning point in India's security posture. The massive cross-border response came in retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. Indian forces targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK in early May, forcing Pakistan to seek a ceasefire by May 10.

Singh said the Pahalgam attack was aimed at disrupting India’s social unity. "India struck back by dismantling terrorist bases. We will not allow such incidents to be repeated,” he said.
