J&K Handicapped Association Holds Protest

Members of the Jammu and Kashmir Handicapped Association (JKHA) staged a protest at Press Enclave in Srinagar on Monday, calling upon the government to address the longstanding grievances of the disabled community.
Led by Association President Abdul Rashid Bhat, the protestors raised slogans demanding immediate redressal of core issues, including the enhancement of monthly disability pension from the existing Rs 1,250 to Rs 3,000 and the launch of special recruitment drives for qualified persons with disabilities.
