A fire broke out in the Pamposh Colony area of Palpora Noor Bagh in Srinagar on Saturday evening, damaging a few residential structures, officials said.
They said personnel of Fire and Emergency Services responded soon to contain the blaze, preventing further loss.
An official said that fire tenders reached the scene after receiving the initial fire call.
