DIAA March artist a longtime multifaceted creator

The Deer Isle Artists Association announces that David McBeth is the March Artist in Residence.

McBeth is a potter, working primarily with porcelain that is high-fired and ready for the dining table, according to a press release, and a knitter whose preferred material is wool yarn. McBeth also writes poetry, short essays and personal narratives. His work is influenced “through dialogue with others, by the wind through the trees, the coming and going of the tides.”
