England v West Indies 2nd ODI, Today, Cardiff, 11am Series: England 1-0

- BY DAVID CHARLESWORTH

SAQIB MAHMOOD has not given up on his Ashes dream - even if luck has seemed to conspire against him.

Mahmood was England's standout bowler against the West Indies at Edgbaston with three top-order wickets.

That haul, including Windies captain and linchpin Shai Hope, caused a batting collapse, but the 28-year-old feels time is running out to re-establish his Test credentials.
