Leaders go try crazy once again

LEINSTER put seven tries on Ulster as they racked up yet another high-scoring Aviva win to maintain their runaway URC lead.

- BY DEREK FOLEY

The answers for posterity - or trivial pursuit are that Jack Murphy's opening penalty was the first score of any kind Leinster had conceded in 189 minutes.

And Cormac Izuchukwu's try was the first try the Blues had let through in 214 minutes.

Tommy O'Brien picked up the man of the match award while a notable hat-trick from early second-half sub Dan Sheehan brought his tally to a remarkable 43 tries in 68 games for the province.

That it took Leinster 19 minutes to reply to Murphy's opening score was somewhat of a surprise in its own right but when the score did come it was in-form winger O'Brien with yet another try more or less of his own making.
