BARRY KEOGHAN will require a major new nose when he plays Ringo Starr, so says the sticks-man's son.

Zak Starkey, himself a drummer, is looking forward to the four film biopics Sam Mendes is directing about The Beatles, but reckons some major Hollywood magic will be needed for authenticity when it comes to his dad's legendary hooter.

Asked what he thought of Barry being cast as his dad Zak said: “He's gonna need a lot of prosthetics.

“He's going to need a f**king great big nose. That's it innit? And a good haircut, and he'll be all right...it'll be great.”
