Family heartbreak as bridge crash student Bronagh, 18, is laid to rest

THE funeral of a teenage girl killed in a road crash has heard she was a “wonderful child" who was “loved to pieces”.

Leaving Certificate student Bronagh English, 18, died after the car she was driving left the road at Killardry Bridge at Kilmoyler, Co Tipperary, and entered the River Aherlow last Thursday.

The tragic incident occurred at around 10pm while she was returning home from a day of study and Maths grinds.

Bronagh's body was later recovered by members of the Garda Water Unit and was removed from the scene to the mortuary.
