Judge refuses bail to man and woman
A MAN and woman have appeared in court charged in connection to an incident where it's alleged a woman was “dragged out of her house by her clothes” and “forced into a car” over the whereabouts of a dog.
Richard O'Leary, 36 and Samantha Leeson, 34, appeared before Judge David McHugh at Blanchardstown District Court yesterday.
Mr O'Leary, of Bawnlea Green, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and Ms Leeson, of no fixed abode, are both charged with burglary with intent to commit criminal damage at a property at The Walled Garden in Castle town, Celbridge, Co Kildare on Monday this week.
They were also charged with criminal damage and putting the victim in fear that they would damage her front door and window on the same date.
At the court, defence solicitor Leonard Leader, for Ms Leeson, said the alleged injured party and Ms Leeson “were friends once” and that relationship deteriorated.
