PARKHEAD chief finance officer Chris McKay insists Celtic need to have cash in the bank because Scotland's European hopes are heading off a cliff.

But McKay said: “Our objective is always Champions League qualification, but we need to be very cognisant of the volatility in football and therefore having a plan B. And that plan B is crucial to any well-run football club.
