Gaza 'worse than hell on earth' as food crisis grows

THE dire food aid crisis is making Gaza “worse than hell on earth”, says an aid boss.

Yesterday the group which runs the new aid distribution sites closed them for the day for “update, organisation and efficiency improvement works”.

Israel then warned that people would be prevented from entering the areas and that roads to the sites would be considered “combat zones”.

The closures followed a string of deadly incidents near the centres.
