Banks is keen for Marg to mix it with the big guns at York

MUSIC mogul Emma Banks will stump up £40,000 to add Spicy Marg to the Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes at York.

The agent who has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue and the Red Hot Chili Peppers believes her two-year-old filly has earned a place in the Group One field.

Spicy Marg stormed to victory in the Alice Keppel Fillies' Conditions Stakes at Goodwood and would carry just eight stone on August 22 against her elders.
