Social housing failure again

THE Government once again missed its social housing targets last year.

The target for new-build social homes in 2024 was missed by 18%, with overall delivery of social homes down 11% on 2023.

It comes months after it was confirmed it had missed its overall housing target of 33,300 after promising delivery of 40,000 new homes in 2024 during the General Election.
