O'Sullivan on cusp of last eight and a push for the top
RONNIE O'SULLIVAN insists his game is still a work in progress - despite storming towards a 23rd World Championship quarter-final last night.
The Rocket, 49, resumed 6-2 ahead of Chinese qualifier Pang Junxu and maintained his dominance to leave himself one frame from victory at 12-4 up ahead of tonight's session.
O'Sullivan is bidding to land a record eighth Crucible crown this year in Sheffield.
And the world No.5 revealed he is ready to rededicate himself to the sport by cutting out lucrative exhibitions and getting a brand new cue in a bid to return to the top. In recent years O'Sullivan has run himself into the ground with long exhibition tours in China.
