Reynolds: Fan abuse crossed the line
Irish Daily Star

ALAN Reynolds says criticism of his players from some in the Bohemians faithful has “crossed the line” and that fourth place is “where we should be” — as the Gypsies sweat on a European spot.
Bohs fans will next weekend find themselves in an uncomfortable position of cheering for bitter rivals Shamrock Rovers in their FAI Cup final against Cork City.
A win for the Hoops would secure the Gypsies’ place in Europe next season, after Saturday's 4-1 win away to Drogheda United saw them pip St Patrick's Athletic into fourth.
Goals from James Clarke (two), Colm Whelan and Ross Tierney sealed the win against 10-man Drogheda, who hit back through Conor Keeley but had Josh Thomas sent off 14 minutes from the end.
Afterwards Reynolds, who has come under fire from fans this season, was critical of a section of the Bohs support, saying: “I think some of the stuff that’s gone on has crossed the line, in my opinion.
“Look, to me personally, it doesn’t bother me one bit. Mentally, I'm strong enough to go. I've been around long enough. You can say what you want.
“It’s the players that are the most important thing. If some of the fans aren't happy that were 4th and in Europe, I don't care.
He added: “I just thought the abuse last week [aimed at the players after the defeat to Shelbourne]; there's board members there who are putting everything into it and I just thought it crossed the line”
