NEANDERTHALS ON HUNT FOR BEACH GETAWAY
Irish Daily Star
|July 16, 2025

In a study published in Scientific Reports, researchers tell of the discovery of fossilised hominin footprints on the Portuguese coastline, suggesting Neanderthals walked on beaches and used coastal ecosystems.
