GARDAI will closely examine footage from the Citywest unrest and more people will be arrested, the Justice Minister has said.
Riots erupted outside the Dublin IPAS centre after a young girl, who was in Tusla's care, was allegedly sexually assaulted.
Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan said gardai are investigating the violence, which saw a Garda van set alight with bricks and glass bottles being thrown at officers.
Speaking yesterday he warned the public to abstain from any more violence and said there would be a “forceful response" to further unrest.
