Bradley would love to wrap up title with first win this year over Gypsies

- BY MARK McCADDEN, STEPHEN BRADLEY

STEPHEN BRADLEY has outlined two reasons he wants Shamrock Rovers players to wrap up the Premier Division title race this Friday.

The Hoops are gunning for their fifth crown in six seasons and can confirm their status as champions with a win over Bohemians and a Derry City defeat away to Drogheda United.

A draw for the Candystripes, along with a Rovers win, would all but end the race given the huge goal difference advantage the Tallaght men enjoy.

Bradley would also love to get the three points on Friday to break a three-game losing streak against cross-city rivals Bohs this season.

And with a busy schedule coming up - five league games remaining after Friday, an FAI Cup semi and possibly a final as well as six Europa Conference League games ~ the Rovers boss is keen to put the title race to bed.
