Kop face Jan fight for Guehi

LIVERPOOL will need to pay over the odds to land Marc Guehi in January or risk losing him to Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona as a free agent.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot (circle) wants defensive recruits in the next transfer window to stabilise their season after a disastrous start to the defence of their Premier League crown.

They could go back in for Guehi, but it would still take a huge fee to sign him even though the Crystal Palace captain will have just six months left on his deal.
