IT'S ROW-VER FOR PHILIP

After taking to the dancefloor accompanied live by the RTE Concert Orchestra, Philip and his pro partner Daniela Roze left the contest.

The combined public votes and judges scores saw them face-off against Tolu Makay and Maceij Zieba in the fourth dreaded dance-off of the season.

Music director Gavin Murphy returned to conduct the RTE Concert Orchestra, alongside singers Susan McFadden and Ashton Jones on live vocals in a special episode.

First to perform were rowing star Philip and Daniela, who danced a jive to Queen's anthem, Don't Stop Me Now.

Head judge Oti Mabuse said: "What a way to open an iconic week.

"That was full of energy and full of power. It was packed, it had energy and it looked like you had a good time."

They scored 31 points.

Next, The Traitors Ireland star Paudie Moloney and his partner Laura Nolan danced a Viennese Waltz to Annie's Song by John Denver, scoring 24 points.
