IRISH military officers are set to be sent all over the world - to act as soldier diplomats, it has emerged.

This paper has learned that Minister for Defence Helen McEntee will today seek Cabinet permission to send three officers to act as military attachés, based out of Irish embassies in London, Paris and Washington.
