HARRIS TAKES AIM AT SOCIAL MEDIA ABUSER

TANAISTE Simon Harris had hit out at a social media user who wished him dead.

The Fine Gael leader has received numerous threats which have been investigated by gardai in recent months.

After one X user posted: "Wish I was reading it was you simple Simon was dead", Mr Harris replied: "I don’t know you. I don't know anything about you. But this toxicity, this nastiness is becoming all too frequent."

The exchange came two weeks after a woman was charged with making threats to Mr Harris and his family.
