Hadjar will be next to fail in 'cursed' seat

POLE POSITION It’s confirmed - Max Verstappen will have another team-mate to destroy next year. Isack Hadjar (above) is the Dutchman's next designated victim, his ‘reward’ for what has been a very impressive debut season. Like the rest, he is confident he can be the one to end the curse on that second Red Bull seat. But, like the rest, he will fail. I'm not doubting Hadjar’s ability, but the truth is Verstappen’s influence within that team will not allow for a second driver to receive equal treatment. And nor will his father Jos, who has been happier since Christian Horner was ousted, but who will kick off again if he gets a whiff of anything not being in his son's favour. Yuki Tsunoda has more than 100 starts under his belt, but he too was made to look like an amateur in the same car as Verstappen. He has been chewed up and spat back out by the hardest job in F1 and now he's without a place on next year's grid.
