GRAHAM CAREY'S thunderbolt sent Saints marching in the Scottish Cup sem-final to face Celtic - and the hero is hoping Hampden lightning can strike twice.

The Dubliner was part of the St Mirren side who shocked Celtic 3-2 in the League Cup last four on their way to winning the trophy against Hearts in the final in 2013.

Carey's incredible strike against Livingston on Monday blasted the Perth Saints into the Scottish Cup semis - and he's looking to blast Celts again.

The 35-year-old (inset) said: "I did beat Celtic in one with St Mirren. We know it will be tough.
