IRELAND fans are roaring back into voice to kick off tonight's first match as the Boys In Green embark on their 2026 World Cup bid.

Hungary is the opposition at a packed out Aviva Stadium with the FAI confirming match tickets sold out days ago.

Team boss Heimir Hallgrimsson called on supporters to be Ireland's "12th man" while captain Nathan Collins said the pressure from a sold-out stadium will energise the players.

He knows fans are desperate to reach a first major tournament since Euro 2016.
