ANGE POSTECOGLOU believes the world thinks he will get sacked even if he wins the Europa League.

The under-pressure Tottenham boss (left) claims everything they do at the moment is turned from "gold to cr*p" and fears he is fighting a losing battle.

He still believes he can turn the club's fortunes around after a dismal season in the Premier League but is acutely aware of the mood music saying he will be axed no matter what happens.

Postecoglou, who faces Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, said: "That's just the general sentiment of people writing even if we win it, I'm gone anyway. That's not having a go, that's just the general sentiment of the people.

"But I have said before, that is not what drives me. I came to this club with a clear purpose and vision of what the club needed and what I could offer.

THIS NEWSREADER CAN GENERATE HIS OWN HEADLINES AT CHELMSFORD

NEWSREADER showed regressive form latterly for Kevin Philippart De Foy but a move to Edward Smyth-Osborne in August has seen him return to some of his better form, with the fitting of cheekpieces seemingly a catalyst for his revival in fortunes. His recent resurgence has come on turf, making the frame at both Windsor and Ffos Las, but both his wins have come on the all-weather and there's a strong chance that a return to an artificial surface is going to suit him even better.
