Duggan's five goals Laois high
Irish Daily Star
|May 12, 2025
A FIVE-GOAL first-half haul by Championship debutant corner forward James Duggan ensured that Laois continued their unbeaten Joe McDonagh Cup campaign in emphatic fashion.
Laois hammered Kerry by 5-28 to 1-21 at MW Hire O'Moore Park yesterday afternoon.
Duggan finished with 5-2 - 17 points — the highest ever Championship total by a Laois man.
Having already secured two big wins over Westmeath and Down, victory really puts Laois in the driving seat in this year's competiton.
