Farke desperate to drink from league trophy again

DANIEL Farke has joked he wants to win the Championship with Leeds because he is desperate for a swig from the Football League trophy.

Leeds will be crowned champions if they beat Plymouth at Home Park today and Farke is looking forward to celebrating by drinking champagne from the famous old trophy.

He also quipped it will give the Leeds players something to hold during Monday's open-top bus tour of the city to celebrate winning promotion to the Premier League.

"We want to finish as strong as possible," said the Leeds boss. "The main job is done and we're promoted back to the Premier League.

"No-one can take that away from us.
