CLANCY IS CASTING NET WIDE FOR NEW STRIKER

CORK boss Tim Clancy has revealed he is on a worldwide search of the free agent market to try and find an emergency striker to solve their injury crisis.

Top marksmen Ruairi Keating and Sean Maguire are OUT, meaning Clancy is desperately trying to get someone IN.

“The UK market is the nearest supermarket of players for us to shop in,’ said Clancy (inset).

"They have players in non-League who are on non-contracts but because they are registered with the FA, they are not available for us. It is outside our window for us to buy them.

"So you are then resorting back to players from overseas or the UK who have been unattached since the end of January.
