Canavan: Tyrone in transition

Geraghty doesn't see a long period of Kerry dominance

CAUSE FOR CONCERN Tyrone legend Peter Canavan

TYRONE great Peter Canavan reckons the Red Hands are a ‘team in transition’ and are far from dead certs for promotion back to Division 1.

Tyrone and neighbours Derry are favourites to make an immediate return to the top flight after relegation last year.

While Canavan fancies a rejuvenated Derry to fare well, win the Ulster SFC and push hard in the All-Ireland series, he believes Tyrone are ‘not in the top four or five’ nationally.
