Chief slams 'disastrous' quota levels until 2038

IRISH fishermen will lose €800million in revenue because of the new EU-UK Brexit fishery deal which runs until 2038, we can reveal.

The claim was made by the Irish Fish Producers Organisation chief Aodh O'Donnell who represents the majority of fishermen here.

He warned: "The current EU quota allocations are disastrous for Ireland's coastal communities and an indictment of ongoing and systemic injustice at European Union level.
