MORGAN ROGERS is ready to become a leader on and off the pitch as Aston Villa navigate an injury crisis in midfield.
The onus on Villa's more established players has only increased after Youri Tielemans joined Boubacar Kamara and John McGinn on the sidelines with long-term injuries.
As a result, Rogers feels an even greater responsibility to step up.
And the 23-year-old did just that on Thursday night, scoring Villa's first goal (above) in a 3-2 Europa League win against RB Salzburg.
Ahead of tomorrow's visit of Brentford, Rogers said: "There are four injured players who are massive in our group and changing room, as characters and not just players.
